Emily Kulesa – Projects and Administration Assistant

Emily joined LSx in October 2019, after volunteering for 6 months. She is delivering our Cleaner Air 4 Schools: Hertsmere project, teaching primary students about air pollution and how they can improve air quality in their communities. She is also oversees our office admin work and manages a wide range of volunteers.

Emily has long had interest in sustainability issues, having completed an MA (Hons) at the University of St Andrews in Sustainable Development and an MA in Environment, Politics and Globalisation from King’s College London. Her master’s thesis looked into how American conservatives interpret and communicate information about climate change and the environment.

Emily has experience in a landscape architecture firm and her research into the sustainability of organic fertiliser has been presented at conferences for the American Society of Landscape Architects. She has also worked at an international tourism industry group, aiding in their delivery of a sustainable tourism awards scheme.
