I worked at London Sustainability Exchange (LSx) for three months. I came to LSx from an educational background in product design and a professional background in the creative industry. I was delighted to be given the opportunity to gain work experience within a charity as well as experience working in sustainable development, which I am extremely interested in. Everyone at LSx is friendly, helpful and supportive and it didn’t take long before I felt at home.
I became very involved in my work for the Energise London project and a notable piece of work was the topic guide for a third sector focus group. Other tasks I carried out included report writing, research, the development of surveys, facilitating group discussions at LSx events and attending external events. I now have a broader knowledge and experience of delivering projects that promote sustainability.
