Jude has extensive experience of project management, monitoring and evaluation and event development and delivery. She has a background of working with the voluntary, public and private sectors as well as working directly with communities to effect behaviour change. Jude currently leads LSx’s environmental behaviour change projects, providing environmental support to London’s SMEs and working with communities to increase take up of sustainable lifestyles, including Thames Water’s Fit and Fun to Drink project with the communities of East London. She is also leading on LSx’s current work in Kirklees, using time banking to build communities, increase local connections and skills and support informal provision of adult social care.
Jude joined LSx in December 2009 as Behaviour Change Programme Assistant, supporting the Well London programme at LSx, delivering community-based projects around healthy eating and volunteering and working with local partners to effect behaviour change among communities. She also supported the development and delivery of the Wellnet events programme and the Healthier London Support Network, providing second tier support to front line health organisations across London. She became the Well London Project Officer in August 2010 and managed Well London until delivery finished in March 2011.
Jude graduated from Cambridge University in 2006. She worked from 2007-2008 at GreenSpace, the national parks charity, where she developed regional forums across the UK, delivered an extensive events and training programme and supported the set up of a nationwide community forum. From 2008-9 she spent a year travelling in China, South East Asia, Australasia and Central America.
