Denis Salamon

Denis has recently retired after eight years as Principal Consultant for a specialist management consultancy, working predominantly in London on public sector funded economic regeneration and business growth programmes.

After graduating with BSc (Hons) Physics, his early career was in the international communications and electronics industry in a range of techno-commercial and management roles predominantly focused on intellectual property commercialisation. Moving into management and technology consultancy, Denis then worked with a range of public, private, academic and not for profit organisations developing and delivering a series of business and culture change initiatives that addressed innovation, business growth, corporate culture, management systems, environmental best practice and social equality.

He has particular expertise in the identification and preparation of funding and grant proposals and their negotiation with public and private sector institutions, including the European Commission. Denis has lectured and trained extensively in project management, innovation, product development, environmental best practices and business planning. In his retirement he is continuing to work informally with social and charitable enterprises on the adoption of commercial business practices and the identification of new entrepreneurial opportunities.
