What do you actually do?

As a charity we work in partnership with business, government and the voluntary sector to:

• Reduce London's environmental footprint
• Improve the lives of London's disadvantaged communities
• Improve the health of Londoners
• Improve the knowledge and skills of our communities to achieve these goals

Our behaviour change  work is innovating new ways to make sustainable lifestyles attractive to Londoners from all walks of life. It is also helping the capital’s businesses – from Chinese take-aways to multinationals - to take up cleaner, greener business practices.

We help London’s local decision makers to build sustainable communities by growing their capacity to a more holistic approach to delivering community priorities.

We are working with business and government to reduce the environmental footprint of London’s built environment. We are working with business and government to trial modern methods of construction in the Thames Gateway.

We are leading a Sustainable 2012 Network, with WWF-UK and Green Alliance, to help maximise the contribution of NGOs, businesses and delivery agencies for a positive environmental and social legacy for the Olympic Games.

We are helping to get London’s learning and skills  sector fit for the future, so that Londoners will have the skills to deliver sustainable communities – especially planners and technicians.
