Gayle Burgess joined London Sustainability Exchange in April 2004. As Behaviour Change Programme Manager, Gayle is responsible for developing and ensuring the effective delivery of LSx’s behaviour change programme of work, including our Motivate London, Diverse London and Greener Food projects.
In her previous roles as Project Officer and Knowledge Officer, Gayle led on pilot studies testing effective ways to motivate Londoners to take up greener lifestyles, as well as our Community Strategies and LSP research. Gayle also supported the Learning to Last in London and London Sustainable Construction projects.
Prior to joining LSx, Gayle set up a recycling and green awareness project, worked as a researcher and field site surveyor with the RSNC, and was a curatorial assistant with the mammal group at the Natural History Museum. She also worked as an information assistant at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
