    Stitch in Time with Mary

This session is for anyone who’s hankered to try out sewing or is a dab hand at dressmaking.  Mary worked for Liberty and has been a seamstress for many years so if you have a garment you always thought you’d like to make or an item of clothing that needs adjusting this is the session for you.

    Food Growing with Rosie

Come along to Rosie’s session to learn about simple food growing techniques. Whether you have a garden, balcony or just a windowsill, find out about the different foods you can grow.

    Cooking with Sara

Are you getting bored of eating the same food each day? Do you want to eat more healthy food but don’t know where to start?

These sessions will help you understand the benefits of cooking for yourself and show how easy it can be. Join us as we choose fresh ingredients to prepare together before sitting down to a lovely lunch.

Volunteer on the project

We are also on the look out for volunteers with local knowledge who would like to become Community Coordinators. Our Community Coordinators will be supporting us to run this project, sharing the sessions with Brentford residents. More information on this can be found below.

Run a session

If you have a particular skill (whether that be anything from woodwork to meditation to baking) and would like to share this with the local community by running a session or two as part of this project, we would love to hear from you!

Please email alice.vodden@globalactionplan.org.uk or call us on 020 3817 7636 for details.
