We provide organisations and networks of individuals with the motivation, knowledge, and connections they need to put sustainability into practice. More about us>
The UK is now the first of the EU’s 28 Member States to receive enforcement action on NO2. In particular, levels of NO2 in the UK breach European limits in 16 of 43 zones. London has been singled out for having the highest levels of NO2 of any capital city in Europe. Well done to our partner Client Earth for their successful action on this. You can read more about this story, and about other air quality news from London and the rest of the UK, in our new air quality bulletin.
Building on our ongoing work on air quality with London community groups, LSx has released a first draft of a new 'Cleaner Air 4 Communities' toolkit. Like our 'Cleaner Air 4 Schools' toolkit, the kit is designed to give community groups the resources they need to take action against poor air quality in their area. You can read and download the toolkit here. If you have any suggestions for the second draft, please do get in touch with Sam Jelliman at email@example.com
London Sustainability Exchange has recently participated in the Mayor of London’s Health Commission Call for Evidence, which was working to gather information on how London’s health and healthcare can be improved for the benefit of the population. Read more here.
