Cleaner Air 4 Secondary Schools (CA4SS) is a multiple-discipline project designed alongside the school curriculum, with the aim of raising awareness and stewardship of air quality among the school community.

This project was successful in directly influencing how the students viewed their travel behaviours and the environmental implications of not using sustainable methods – prior to the project 55.83% students reported to know how their actions affected pollution, compared to 89.83% at the end of the project.

Working with LSx on the Air Quality project has been a great example of partnership success, technical expertise, project management and excellent resources being produced and utilised by students at a local East Herts school. The team has been professional and knowledgeable working superbly with East Herts Council colleagues and school staff to engage and develop year 12 students in their scientific investigation, research and report writing skills.
