Alford House, Lambeth

Brief

Alford House is a charitable organisation that runs a youth centre for 8-21 year olds based in North Lambeth, London.  It is a double-storey building with lower ground floor, comprising twenty-six rooms of varying sizes: theatre spaces, sports hall, coffee bar, computer room, art space, music studio, lounge, meeting rooms and ancillary rooms.

LSx was commissioned to enable Alford House to reduce its overall environmental impact regarding several aspects: water, energy, procurement and policy.

After the first audit, LSx presented several recommendations to improve these matters.  After one year, LSx preformed a new audit and verified the improvements.
