Alice joined London Sustainability Exchange in 2018 and has been a key part of a number of air quality projects. These have included community-based citizen science workshops with community groups in London, Leeds, Southampton, Derby, Nottingham and Birmingham and with both primary and secondary schools in London and Surrey. She has been supporting the development of air quality sensors with researchers working in Santiago, Chile and is currently leading on our three-year Brentford Together project which will tackle social isolation and physical and mental health issues in Brentford.
Before joining LSx, she completed a postgraduate degree in Climate Change and International Development, undertaking research on individual dietary behaviour change. With a passion for community engagement and empowerment, she has worked for an international water and sanitation development charity; assisted a Cambridge-based organisation with their repair cafes; and represented a dietary behaviour change organisation at the international climate change conference in Bonn.
