London Students Towards Sustainability

Developing skills for a more sustainable London

The London Students Towards Sustainability project provided a unique London-based network of students and organisations working to facilitate knowledge-sharing and networking.

The project aimed to:

Support students to gain insights into sustainable communities and benefit from valuable work experience.

Support employers to harness the skills and enthusiasm of the next generation of sustainability professionals.

Benefits for members included:

An innovative internship scheme, offering access to an online brokerage service that matched students with host employers across public and private sectors offering work placements in sustainability-related fields. This is an ongoing legacy of LSTS, details of which can be found below.
A series of networking / knowledge-sharing events, bringing together students with professionals from sustainability-related fields.
