About Motivate London

The Motivate London project was the forerunner to our Energise London programme. It ran from 2003 to 2008 met a critical need for support to London's local authorities and others to help them deliver lasting environmental behaviour change.

Key Project Achievements

• Developed and co-ordinated a series of innovative pilot projects  that tested what motivates Londoners to undertake environmentally sustainable behaviour; reached out to an estimated 100,000 people.
• Researched and compiled information on existing and past experiences  of motivating environmentally sustainable behaviour in London and elsewhere. Included a "Motivation Kit" CD-Rom.
• Created and supported a Learning Network for London's professionals to promote environmental sustainability and influence Londoners. Delivered a highly successful event series attended by over 400 people.
