Case Studies

Over the life of the project, we will be profiling success stories from culturally diverse communities.

Valentin M. Yombo Djema  is a businessman from the Democratic Republic of Congo now living in London. This case study discusses Valentin's Garden Project, which seeks to raise the environmental interest and sense of responsibility of young people in his local area.

‘Don’t Panic Go Organic’  - is an inspiring story of a Shadwell-based grocery owned by Luthfur Rahman. 

Muzammal Hussain is founder of the London Islamic Network for the Environment LINE. LINE was the first Islamic environmental network in the UK.

Saleema Quraishi  is a pro-active North-Londoner who has worked tirelessly to engage her local community in sustainable behaviours.
