Green Deal Action Plan
This report details the findings of Energise Merton, a partnership between London Sustainability Exchange and Sustainable Merton which received support from the National Trust, Parity Projects and the London Borough of Merton. Energise Merton aimed to:
- Understand the scope for energy savings in Merton.
- Explore residents attitudes and behaviours relating to energy saving and retrofitting.
- Ascertain community awareness of the Green Deal and other incentives schemes and identify who they would trust to deliver advice.
- Road test a community peer to peer social marketing approach to engage local residents.
- Co-produce a plan for Sustainable Merton’s Green Deal role in the community.
