Greener Food Champions are individuals that LSx has recruited on a self-employed basis to act as ambassadors for the project between February – October 2008. Their main role is to visit food and drink businesses in London and explain how becoming a Greener Food businesses can boost their reputation and increase their profits. We now have 6 champions who are actively recruiting businesses, these include:

Arthur Eccleston
Energy consultant including giving advice to businesses on how to reduce their carbon footprint. He is also studying for an MSc in Environment and Energy studies
Tom Lavery
Student at Queen Mary University reading English Literature and member of London Food Link.
Avis Lawrence
Owner/manager of the Kingstonian Caterers - a small business specialising in authentic Jamaican cuisine.
Emma Sears
MA student in Anthropology of Food at School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS). Also a volunteer at London Food Link.
Jo Foster
Member of Soil Association, Garden Organic, Greenpeace, Friends of the Earth, London Food Link and Slow Food amongst others. Already has a relationship with many businesses from her work with LFL.
